Vegan Body Builders – Yep They Walk Among Us!

For all you skeptics that think you can’t possibly put on muscle mass if your a vegan, think again.  In this NY Times article you will read of real life examples of body builders who only nosh on veggies, fruit, and plant-based proteins.  My only note is that in the opening they speak about consuming tofu as an alternative to animal proteins, which I personally do not believe is the most nutritious option.  My vegan clients are encouraged to load up on Hemp Protein, Hemp Seeds, Chia Seeds, Beans and Lentils.
