Next time you are out on the town or at a networking event, try asking the question, “What makes you YOU?” You might be very surprised at the deer in headlight expression you get in response. This often comes as a result of so many not knowing what makes them special. Let’s change that starting with YOU! Start asking the question, and similarly, if someone asks, “What do you do?” turn that question around by responding with what makes you UNIQUE and OUTSTANDING rather than quoting what you DO for a living. It makes for better conversation, will boost your self esteem, and get more people talking about their JUICY contribution to existence instead of just hum-drum office jargon.
